Weekend and dwelling mound excursion in Groningen

The first weekend students stayed with Dutch families in the cities of Groningen and Aduard both in the province of Groningen. On Monday (7 January) we left from Aduard on an excursion around the northern part of the country. We stopped at the dwelling mound museum (Museum Wierdenland) in Ezinge, a large fortified home near Ezinge and a sluice gate at the connection between two canals. Image
